From Sketch to Production

Welcome, I am a trained industrial designer with an engineering background ready to bring people-first skills to my next role. I have wide ranging technical skills including Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.

  • Overview: Held roles in various aspects of the company but all centered on providing an exceptional customer experience. Roles were always based on a deeper understanding of our product and its relationship to the greater world. Through all roles a main goal was to fuel individual agency to drive actions that can ignite broader change to save our home planet.

    CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE GUIDE | 8/2020 – Current | Remote

    Support the customer via phone and email through a remote call center environment in any needs they may have in regard to Patagonia product and services. Main support is in regard to new customer orders, shipping delays and guiding customers through the product repair process.

    Excelling in customer feedback surveys as well as team and supervisor feedback. Consistently receiving the highest ratings from customers in all surveyed categories including subject knowledge and friendliness

    Created and lead a multi-week group discussion for our department around climate issues centered around the text ‘All We Can Save’

    VISUAL TEAM LEAD | 8/2018 – 3/2020 | Pasadena, CA

    The objective of this position was to bring the Patagonia story to life in a space that represented the Pasadena community.

    Created an engaging physical environment in-store that contributed to increasing sales quarter over quarter.

    Managed our store staff of approximately 20 employees in regard to the visual environment so that our store could continually exceed Patagonia’s merchandising standards.

    Main visual responsibilities included leveraging color, materials and positioning of clothing collections to highlight product and project that season’s message.

    Multi-task between helping customers with their purchases and product questions while also executing the visual design plans.

  • ENGINEERING AIDE II

    Overview: Supported the end stage production of Predator A and B unmanned aerial vehicles. Interfaced with a team of 5 on-site engineers daily as well as multiple off-site engineers to gather information and formulate solutions for manufacturing issues.

    Developed solutions for more refined and efficient production processes, carbon composite repairs, and enablement of vehicle retrofits.

    Triage for immediate manufacturing issues, which included the following actions: order parts for repairs and help guide installation with technicians.

    Reading and interpreting blueprints and providing diagnostic support for the manufacturing floor.

    Co-developed a digital database for the on-site engineering department to store and organize engineering project materials.
